At Elev8 Dance, we know that taking dance classes develops confidence, leadership, creativity and athleticism. That’s why we work hard to keep our classes fun, challenging and engaging, guiding each student toward their best in dance and our community.

Christopher Bull owns and directs Elev8 Dance. He is a former professional and competitive dancer, a four-time Canadian National Champion, and a World Dance Silver Medalist. Mr. Chris has travelled the globe for nearly thirty years, training and performing, and he is proud to have been named Hamilton’s Best Dance Teacher (Hamilton Spectator).

Programs / Dance Styles

  • KinderDance – upbeat, graceful, strong, bounce, jump, learning skills
  • Ballet – posture, balance, grace, explosion, spins, jumps, quick
  • Jazz – upbeat, turns, jumps, broadway, contemporary, lyrical
  • Tap – rhythm, upbeat, sharp, musical, funk, broadway
  • Hip Hop – groove, rhythm, pop culture, bounce, pop, swag,
  • Acrobatics – tricks, flips, rolls, circus, balance, stretch, flexibility
  • Adult Dance – posture, graceful, upbeat, rhythm, bounce, groove

Membership and Tuition

Kinder, Elementary and High School

One weekly class:

  • Enrolment: $269 – includes your first month’s tuition, class uniform, spring recital and recital costume. (A minimum of in-class time is required to participate in events and recitals.)
  • Monthly tuition: $74, paid on the 1st of each month.
  • Account set up with pre-authorized payments.

Additional weekly classes:

  • Enrolment: $189 per program.
  • Monthly tuition: $64 per program billed on the 1st of each month.
  • Account set up with pre-authorized payments.

Choir Singing Lessons

  • Enrolment: $109 – includes your first month’s tuition and spring recital.
  • Monthly tuition: $74 billed on the 1st of each month.
  • Account set up with pre-authorized payments.

Pre-K Discover Dance

  • Enrolment: $95 – includes your first month’s tuition and class uniform.
  • Monthly tuition: $60 billed on the 1st of each month.
  • Account set up with pre-authorized payments.

Adult Classes

  • Monthly tuition: $74 billed on the 1st of each month.
  • Each additional class: $64 billed on the 1st of each month.
  • Drop-in: $25 per class.
  • Account set up with pre-authorized payments.

Membership Payment Example

For this example, let’s enrol in a KinderDance class:

  • September 1st: $269
  • October 1st: $74
  • November 1st: $74
  • December 1st: $74
  • January 1st: $74
  • February 1st: $74
  • March 1st: $74
  • April 1st: $74
  • May 1st: $74
  • June 1st: $74

Plus HST. Classes require a minimum to operate.

Spring Recital

We hold an annual Spring Recital for our youth dancers to showcase their hard-earned skills and talents. The recital allows all of our students to perform in front of their families and friends in our Spring Gala, demonstrating their progress throughout the year. Students spend time in class and at home practicing, learning, and preparing their dances, which helps to build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
