Welcome to Elev8 Dance

At Elev8 Dance, we know that taking dance classes develops confidence, leadership, creativity and athleticism. That’s why we work hard to keep our classes fun, challenging and engaging, guiding each student toward their best in dance and our community.

Christopher Bull owns and directs Elev8 Dance. He is a former professional and competitive dancer, a four-time Canadian National Champion, and a World Dance Silver Medalist. Mr. Chris has travelled the globe for nearly thirty years, training and performing, and he is proud to have been named Hamilton’s Best Dance Teacher (Hamilton Spectator).

• KinderDance – upbeat, graceful, strong, bounce, jump, learning skills
• Ballet – posture, balance, grace, explosion, spins, jumps, quick
• Jazz – upbeat, turns, jumps, broadway, contemporary, lyrical
• Tap – rhythm, upbeat, sharp, musical, funk, broadway
• Hip Hop – groove, rhythm, pop culture, bounce, pop, swag,
• Acrobatics – tricks, flips, rolls, circus, balance, stretch, flexibility

Program Fees Sept 2023 to June 2024

Youth summer classes, separate from the full schedule, are billed as one monthly tuition payment.

Youth Membership: Kinder, Elementary and High School

• First Month / Enrolment: $269.
• Each following month: $74.

• Enrolment covers the first monthly tuition payment, class uniform for new students, recital preparations, and one spring recital costume.
• Accounts are set up for automatic payments with a preauthorized credit card, which can be set up online or in person. Fees are paid on the 1st of each month. Plus HST.
• A minimum of participation time is required to participate in events and recitals.

Each Additional Program:

• First Month / Enrolment: $189.
• Each following month: $64.

Pre-K Programs:

• First Month / Enrolment: $95
• Each following month: $60.

• Enrolment covers the first monthly tuition payment and class uniform.
• Accounts are set up for automatic payments with a preauthorized credit card, which can be set up online or in person. Fees are paid on the 1st of each month. Plus HST.

Adult Programs:

• One program is $74, month-to-month.
• Each additional program is $64, month-to-month.
• Drop-in: $25 per class.

Academy Membership: Advanced Training Program

• First Month / Enrolment: $499.
• Each following month: $249.

• Lyrical/Contemporary is an add-on for $50 monthly, regardless of the number of monthly classes. Plus, $62.50 with enrolment and $31.25 in November and December towards the spring recital.

• Enrolment covers the first monthly tuition payment, recital preparations and a portion of four spring recital costume fees. Uniform not included.
• The remainder recital fees are collected in November ($125) and January ($125).
• Accounts are set up for automatic payments with a preauthorized credit card, which can be set up online or in person. Fees are paid on the 1st of each month. Plus HST.
• A minimum of participation time is required to participate in events and recitals.

Plus HST. Classes require a minimum to operate. Referral discounts and credits are not applied to enrolment fees.

Spring Recital

We hold an annual Spring Recital for our youth dancers to showcase their hard-earned skills and talents. The recital allows all of our students to perform in front of their families and friends in our Spring Gala, demonstrating their progress throughout the year. Students spend time in class and at home practicing, learning, and preparing their dances, which helps to build confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

What to Wear for Dance Class

Elev8 Dance has a uniform in place, which helps to eliminate distractions, promotes a sense of community and makes getting ready for class easy. Only your teacher can set you up with the class uniform.
